bronchial maltoma, (extranodal B-cell-lymphoma of the bronchial mucosa, localized, indolent)                                                        Stage: 1

Medical history (Hx) bevor MALT: 
discovered by chance at bronchoscopy for suspected tuberculosis at a different site in the lung (negative for tb)

 

Medical history after MALT: 
no symptoms, bronchoscopy every ½ year, little localized extension of lesion; CT every other year

Helicobacter neg., nevertheless eradication therapy (as for gastric Malt) on counsel of Prof. Isaacson, London

 

Treatments (Tx): watch and wait

localized radiotherapy considered

 

Looking for common factors (example: polio vaccine):

no screening for SV 40 yet

 

Job, family etc.: male nurse
