  REAL PLAYER ISSUES

Which Versions of Real Player Will Allow Me To View Healthology Webcasts?

You can view WebCasts with Real Player version 7 
or higher with no difficulty. 

Earlier versions will probably ask you to upgrade depending upon your settings in Real preferences. The most current version release as of this writing is the RealOne Player (Real Player 8 was previous to RealOne).

What Can I Do?
What version are you using now?

1. Open RealPlayer.
2. Click "Help" in the menu bar.
3. Click About RealPlayer.
4. Go to RealPlayer One 
if you need to upgrade.

Look for the link to the free player, and then the link which says "Download the Free RealOne Player Only"

VIDEO NOT WORKING PROPERLY?

1. Start RealPlayer (tm).
2. Click the View menu; choose Preferences.
3. Click the Connection tab.
4. Click Normal Bandwidth and select the appropriate speed for your Internet connection:

Select 56k Modem or a lower speed if you have a 56k dial-up modem connection. 

Select 256 kbps DSL/Cable or a higher speed if you have a high-speed connection (DSL, Cable Modem, T1, etc.). 

Click Maximum Bandwidth and follow the same steps.

5. Click OK.

RealPlayer requires a minimum of 16-bit color in Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, and 2000. If your computer is incapable of displaying at least 16-bit color, you may only get a black square in RealPlayer when you play video content.

To Change Video Resolution Settings:

1. Click "Start" menu on your desktop.
2. Click "Settings" and then "Control Panel".
3. Double click "Display" icon.
4. Click "Settings" tab.
5. Make sure that "High Color" 
    or "True Color" is selected in the colors list.
6. Click OK.
7. Restart your computer if prompted.

You can view WebCasts with Windows Media Player version 7 and higher with no difficulty.

2. Click "Tools" menu; choose "Options".
3. Click "Performance" tab.
4. Click "My connection speed is:" 
and select your Internet connection speed.
